Despite these flaws, seconds are still 100% functional. Because of the minor flaws they exhibit, they have been drastically discounted in price... Yay for you! PLEASE NOTE: These are the only items that we make that are NOT dishwasher and microwave safe. The surfaces are decorated with a thin layer of real gold, and should be cared for like fine china. Never place these in a microwave or oven, and always gently hand-wash them with a non-abrasive detergent/sponge.
